February 07, 2020
Well friends, Ive been really excited to write this piece, ever since I decided to be sure that I found some time each day to prioritize myself even if it was just for a brief moment in time. In this case I wanted to talk about my self care habits, the things that bring me back to an equilibrium, how I care for my core. So to keep this blog not too crazy long, I want to introduce you to my old school notes method of writing.
In caring for my body I have an ever evolving skin and body care routine that I am instilling as a daily habit. In establishing my own ideal personal care for what works best with my body I decided to share my blends with you all so you can experience care for your body in the best way possible! Its hard sometimes to find yourself making time for your body, but without it, none of this that you are living would be an experience you could have. Its a blessing each day that we have a vessel that carries our soul to act on our desires. Its a blessing that it functions to the ability it does no matter how creaky you might be…each day is blissful no matter our hardships. So with that, care for your self, Physically.
Here's a snippet into my routine :)
At any point during my day or primarily mostly used after a shower whilst my skin is still wet, I lather my body with Nourishment Oil, its been so great for not only keeping my skin supple and smooth but has a scent that grounds me after my showers.
Each night after I use soap to wash the impurities from the day I Shake & Spritz myself with our Healing Mist to hydrate my skin through the night and allow for any repairs to my skin/pores to be rejuvenated through the night.
When the day comes that I injure myself, of course likely step on something with my barefoot I douse it in Soul Salve to help repair and replenish my wounds. Its worked a charm on stinging botanicals to cuts or bug bites. Its been a great go to whilst living on the road and being outdoors so frequently!
Almost daily I apply Moon.Dust to my face as an all natural clay based concealer. It gives an illusion of perfection all the while taking care of your skin for it to get to its own understanding of perfection. Its a delicate shimmery powder that I apply with a powder brush after hydrating my skin with oils/balms.
Though I might not have much, I still have a powerhouse of hair on the top of my head and that’s not to be forgotten as an extension of your physical being! So Hair Serum, thank you for your super juices post every shower with a wet head :)
Anyhow, with that said, I sure do how that you have enjoyed a little break down of my body care routine, how I apply my products & their ingredients that yes I use almost daily. Also I wanted to just conclude that whilst these are the products I use, it's not all of them…there are more that I will one day share about when I find the right ones, or when I create a various few other products such as deodorant, toothpaste, body creams etc.
Nothing is perfect for everyone, as we are all so different and react differently to different routines, products and amounts etc etc, but you never know what could work for you until you try :)
Happy Healing & Until Next time
