Need a Break from Work? Discover a Powerful Way to Reduce Stress

In today's fast-paced world, taking time for yourself can feel like a luxury.  With renovations, moving, entrepeneur stress, mom life and so many other responsibilities weighing on me and so many others breathwork has been an integral part of my day.  So, dedicating just a few moments to mindfulness and self-care can make a significant difference in your day as it has mine. That’s why we’re thrilled to invite you to our June Chestnut Collective gathering for a 30-minute Lunchtime Breathwork Session, specially designed for our intentional community members.

Why Breathwork?

Breathwork is a powerful tool for managing stress, improving mental clarity, and enhancing overall well-being. By consciously controlling our breath, we can activate the body’s relaxation response, reduce anxiety, and cultivate a deeper sense of mindfulness. It's a simple, yet profoundly effective practice that everyone can benefit from, regardless of experience level.

What to Expect

Our session is designed to fit seamlessly into your lunch break, providing a quick but effective reset for your mind and body. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Guided Breathwork Techniques: I, Juliana Yasmine will guide you through a series of breathing exercises, including Box Breathing, 4-7-8 Breathing, and Alternate Nostril Breathing. Each technique is aimed at calming the nervous system and promoting relaxation.
  • Mindfulness Practices: Alongside breathwork, I’ll incorporate mindfulness exercises to help you stay present and centered, enhancing the overall benefits of the session.
  • Community Connection: Join fellow community members in this shared experience, fostering a sense of connection and support as we journey towards better health and mindfulness together.

How to Prepare

No special equipment or prior experience is needed for this session. All you need is:

  • A comfortable, quiet space where you won’t be disturbed
  • A cushion or chair to sit on, or a mat if you prefer to lie down
  • An open mind and willingness to relax

Optional items include a blanket or eye pillow for added comfort.
